Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Trade David De Falco at an online meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation in various infrastructure areas, according to the Infrastructure Ministry's press service.
During the meeting, Vladyslav Kryklii and David De Falco discussed possible cooperation in implementing a project on the development of high-speed rail in Ukraine, as well as developing IT systems for the railway. In the aviation sector, the parties agreed on possible expansion of the geography of flights between Ukraine and the United States after the pandemic.

Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii held an online meeting with representatives of the U.S. Wabtec Corporation. The parties discussed prospects of cooperation in the development of Ukraine's railway sector.
The Minister informed about the first results and further plans of Ukraine in implementing important concession projects in the maritime and other industries. He also invited representatives of American business to participate in Ukrainian projects.
Last year we signed the first agreements on Olvia and Kherson seaports' concession and continue to work on the preparation of subsequent concessions in the ports of Chernomorsk, Berdiansk, Odessa, Izmail, Mariupol, Skadovsk and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. In addition, the railway stations of Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkov, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Chop, L'viv and Odessa are getting ready for concession.
Together with the World Bank, we are also preparing public-private partnership projects for six pilot sections of roads with a total length of 1,400 km. In addition, we are planning pilot concessions at airports.
