On 6 November 2023, the IMF mission headed by Gavin Gray and Ukrainian authorities started policy discussions on the second review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.

Ukraine is represented at the meetings by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine, as well as other authorities responsible for economic, energy, anti-corruption, and rule of law policies.

The meetings are held in Warsaw, Poland, and online.

Additional information

On 31 March 2023, the IMF Executive Board approved a four-year programme under the Extended Fund Facility for Ukraine with funding of USD 15.6 billion (SDR 11.6 billion).

The State Budget of Ukraine has already received two tranches of the IMF EFF programme totalling about USD 3.6 billion.
