In Lithuania, the "Radarom!" fundraising campaign has raised 8.288 million euros to purchase equipment from Lithuanian manufacturers for Ukrainian soldiers.
As reported by LRT.
The fundraising campaign lasted four weeks and was organized by LRT in collaboration with organizations such as Blue/Yellow, LaisvÄs TV, StiprÅ«s kartu, and journalist Rita Milyute.
The final amount raised during the campaign was announced after a charity concert on Saturday evening, marking the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The funds donated by the Lithuanian public, companies, and organizations will be used to purchase and deliver 1,115 sets of equipment to Ukrainian soldiers.
Each set, valued at 7,500 euros, consists of a night vision monocular, a laser sight, and an individual anti-drone system, aimed at helping Ukrainian soldiers better defend themselves against Russian aggressors.
The equipment planned for delivery is manufactured in Lithuania by companies Brolis Semiconductors and NT Service.
This is the second "Radarom!" campaign. Last year, on the first anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the campaign raised over 14 million euros to purchase 17 tactical surveillance radars for monitoring Ukraine's airspace, as well as other equipment.
