In the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, which is under the control of Russian troops, there was an explosion at the "We are together with Russia" movement's headquarters, which is preparing referenda in the occupied territories. This was announced by the head of the administration controlled by the Russian Federation, Vladimir Rogov.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Rogov called the incident a "terrorist attack" and blamed Ukraine for it.
Information about the explosion was also confirmed by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, who is now in the territory controlled by Ukraine. In his message, he called the damaged building the headquarters of United Russia. âOne step further from the pseudo-referendum,â he commented.
The Ukrainian military did not comment on the incident.
