On July 27, there were 158 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“A total of 158 combat clashes were recorded during the past day,” the report states.
According to updated information from the General Staff, Russian forces launched 86 airstrikes and dropped 132 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they used 4,413 kamikaze drones and conducted 5,960 artillery strikes on Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including 85 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian airstrikes targeted areas near Chuhunivka and Shevyakivka in Kharkiv region; Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Mykolaivka, and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region; Bilohiria, Novoandriivka, Zarichne, and Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia region; and L’vove in Kherson region.
Ukrainian forces continue to restrain Russian advances in the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. There, the Russian forces carried out 14 airstrikes, dropping 31 guided bombs and conducting 363 shellings, including 6 from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 assaults.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 7 times near Vovchansk, Zelene, Fiholivka, Zapadne, and toward Petro-Ivanivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, there were 6 attacks, which were repelled near Radkivka, Holubivka, and Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched 18 attacks, trying to break through near Hrekivka and in the directions of Seredne, Hryhorivka, and Shandryholove.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops successfully stopped 9 assaults near Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Hryhorivka, and toward Siversk.
One combat clash was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces carried out 12 attacks near Oleksandro-Kalyneve, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 Russian assaults near Volodymyrivka, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Razyne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirrove, Udachne, Orikhove, Oleksiivka, Poltavka, Kotlyne, and toward Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Novoukrainka, Novopavlivka, Zapovidne, and Rodynske.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russian forces launched 10 attacks near Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Piddubne, and Myrne, and toward Andriivka-Klevtsove, Temyrivka, and Oleksandrohrad.
There were no offensive actions by the Russian forces in the Huliaipole or Orikhiv sectors.
On the Dnipro River (Prydniprovske) sector, Russian troops made 5 attempts to advance toward Prydniprovske.
No signs of Russian offensive groups were observed in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 8 areas of concentration of Russian personnel, weapons and equipment, as well as a gun and a radar station.
