33 countries have already joined the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, led by Ukraine and Canada.
This was announced by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
According to him, the following countries have already joined the Coalition: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States.
"All countries are making joint efforts to reunite Ukrainian children with their families and ensure their reintegration into families and communities," the ombudsman noted.
He reminded that the Coalition was initiated in Kyiv on February 2, 2024.
"This is a joint initiative of Ukraine and Canada. It operates within the framework of the Fourth Point of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine," added Dmytro Lubinets.
