In Ukraine, as a result of Russia's armed aggression, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors as of the morning of July 9, the number of children killed has risen to 559.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that an additional 1449 children have suffered injuries of varying severity.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, on July 8, four children were killed due to Russia's mass rocket strikes on Kyiv: two girls aged 8 and 14, and two boys aged 8 and 10. Ten children, aged between 2 and 17, were also injured.

Additionally, a 16-year-old teenager was injured in Russian shelling of Novoekonomichne village in Donetsk region, and a 5-year-old girl was injured in the shelling of Ochakivske village in Mykolaiv region.
