More than 1839 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

This information was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Telegram.

As of the morning of April 18, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 543 children have died and over 1296 have been injured to varying degrees.

The regions most affected by the aggression are as follows: Donetsk - 529, Kharkiv - 346, Kherson - 150, Dnipropetrovsk - 131, Kyiv - 130, Zaporizhzhia - 108, Mykolaiv - 103.

In recent days:

On April 15, a 9-year-old boy was killed as a result of shelling by Russian forces in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. Also on the same day, a 16-year-old girl was injured due to shelling by Russian forces in the village of Kizomys, Kherson region.

On April 17, four children aged 13 to 17 were affected by shelling in the city of Chernihiv.
