The British military company Babcock has opened an office in Kyiv, as announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamysin.
This international company specializes in repairing and providing technical support for military equipment, serving both defense and civilian clients. Babcock's expertise includes engineering support for maritime, land, air, and nuclear operations, frontline support, personnel training, and asset management.
Babcock also designs and manufactures various specialized equipment for defense and civilian sectors, ranging from military naval ships to weapon handling systems and liquefied gas handling systems. The company works in areas such as communication, electronic warfare, and air defense.
Babcock has offices in Canada, Australia, Japan, Poland, France, the United States, and other countries. One example of its work is the assembly of the HMS Active frigate, which began in August this year. The frigate is expected to be under construction for a year from the time of laying down, after which it will be launched into the water for further completion.
