Ukraine has launched the "Component Library" — a digital database of Ukrainian component manufacturers for companies in the defense sector.

This was announced by Hanna Hvozdyar, Deputy Minister for Strategic Industry Sectors.

"The Component Library is officially launched and already operational! This secure digital platform allows arms and component manufacturers — including UAVs, NKR, and EW/RER — to easily find each other, establish partnerships, and expand local production," the message stated.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that this is another important step in reducing Ukraine’s dependence on foreign components and scaling up domestic weapons production.

The library is hosted on the website of the Ministry of Strategic Industry Sectors of Ukraine, which administers and moderates the service.

According to Hvozdyar, access to the closed database will be available only to verified buyers and sellers of components. They must authenticate through the Diia app and undergo verification by an internal moderator. For legal entities, authorization occurs via an electronic digital signature. Commercial transactions will take place outside the platform.

Products can be listed based on existing product categories and specifications within the system.

To access information about components, the manufacturer of military equipment (buyer) must authenticate through Diia. After authentication, they will gain access to product offerings and specifications, and can request contact details of the component manufacturer.

To contact the component manufacturer, a request must be submitted to the system moderator. This approach prevents mass and unauthorized collection of contact data
