The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands will hold a conference in The Hague on Wednesday on the issue of the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.
The purpose of the conference is to gather representatives of the Netherlands who participate or are interested in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine so that they are ready for this in the post-war period.
Companies, non-governmental organizations and representatives of the country's government will participate in the event at the invitation of the Minister of Internal Trade and Development of Cooperation of the Netherlands, Lisha Schreinemacher.
"The conference will cover a number of diverse topics, such as the role of business and the launch of public-private partnerships in the fields of agriculture, water resources and health services," the Dutch Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The event participants will consider the needs of Ukraine in post-war reconstruction both in the short term and in the long term - in the context of "how Ukraine can be rebuilt stronger and more environmentally friendly than before".
On the Ukrainian side, the Deputy Head of the Office of President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, will open the conference, and the Ambassador of Ukraine, Maksym Kononenko will also be present in The Hague.
