MAKHNO Studio, in collaboration with the Charity Foundation "Hugs of the Nation" and the 3D technology company UTU, is creating 3D-printed bus stops-shelters.

This is a modular bus stop design, serving as a shelter, commercial space, and a waiting area for public transport. You can install any combination of these modules or use them all together.

"The solution is ergonomic, designed for typical conditions, and does not require additional architectural development. Essentially, it's a turnkey package for design, manufacturing, delivery, and installation of the structure," as explained by MAKHNO Studio.

The bus stop can complement and enhance the urban landscape without evoking associations with war. Its smooth forms, combined with a brutalist image, convey a sense of safety and reliability.

3D technology allows for the quick production of such a bus stop.

Currently, the shelter-bus stop is undergoing testing. It is being assessed for durability, different materials are being tested, and the ideal balance between strength and cost is being sought.
