Four Ukrainian sailors are currently in captivity with the Houthi rebels. The Ukrainian government is actively working on their release, according to a statement from President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Four of our sailors are in captivity with the Houthis," the statement reads. The president emphasized that Ukraine is taking measures to secure their return.

Earlier, Houthi rebels released a video showing the capture of the vessel "Galaxy Leader" with an international civilian crew in the Red Sea.

At that time, Oleg Nikolenko, a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Ukrainian embassies involved were instructed to verify the presence of Ukrainians on the seized ship.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already instructed the relevant Ukrainian embassies to verify this information and to contact the company-owner to clarify the exact composition of the ship's crew and other details. We are closely monitoring this situation," he wrote.
