The head of the prime minister's office emphasized at a press conference in Korchova that the opening of the checkpoint was planned for 2025, but thanks to the government's efforts, it will happen earlier. The new checkpoint should be commissioned by next summer.
Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk said that increasing the border crossing capacity in Korchova is beneficial for passenger and cargo transport. According to him, this became possible within weeks. During the press conference, Minister Andrzej Adamczyk emphasized that this would not be possible without the cooperation of Poland and Ukraine's presidents and prime ministers.
