Danish volunteer paramedic Oskar Alexander Koksvik Johansson died on the front lines in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Denmark posted this information on Facebook.

The statement, without providing specific details, mentioned that Johansson lost his life on the front lines while saving the lives of others during a Russian shelling.

"Since the beginning of Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine, Oscar, without hesitation, actively started helping Ukrainians. He did what he believed was necessary, from transporting ambulances and other medical equipment to saving lives on the most dangerous front lines," the statement said.
