According to juvenile prosecutors, 1589 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression

As of the morning of August 5, 2023, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 499 children have been reported killed in Ukraine due to Russia's full-scale armed aggression.

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine stated that more than 1589 children have been affected, with 1090 of them suffering injuries of varying severity.

These figures are not final, and efforts are ongoing to ascertain the exact numbers in areas of conflict, including temporarily occupied and liberated regions.

The highest number of affected children is in Donetsk Region with 483, followed by Kharkiv Region with 298, Kyiv Region with 129, Kherson Region with 117, Zaporizhzhia Region with 97, Mykolaiv Region with 95, Dnipropetrovsk Region with 94, Chernihiv Region with 71, and Luhansk Region with 67.
