During the night of November 18 (starting from 20:00 on November 17), the Russian forces attacked with four Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from the Rostov and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation, and with 114 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Geran and other types launched from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda — the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 70 of these drones were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and drone units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 101 UAVs — Shaheds, Gerans, and other drone types — in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.
Four missiles and 13 attack UAVs hit 15 locations, and debris from downed drones fell in two more locations.
