On the night of December 19 (from 18:30 on December 18), the Russian forces attacked with 160 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, launched from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk, Millerovo (Russian Federation), Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 90 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 108 UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the south and east of the country.
Hits by 47 strike UAVs were recorded at 23 locations.
