Russia has currently excluded Shahed from its attack means and is now attacking more with ballistic missiles and guided aviation missiles like the X-59. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilya Yevlash, during the United News marathon.

"Russia has currently excluded 'Shahed' from its attack means and is now attacking more with ballistic missiles and guided aviation missiles like the X-59. However, two 'Shahed' missiles were indeed used tonight, but we successfully eliminated them," Yevlash informed. He clarified that the X-59 is a medium-range missile with an approximate speed of 1000 kilometers per hour.

"With it, we can combat with the means of air defense systems we have. It's not only the Patriots, but also NASAMS and IRIS-T. Of course, this is quite powerful weaponry designed to strike ground targets. It's also an anti-ship weapon. Currently, we see that the enemy is actively using precisely this type of missile. This weapon cannot be underestimated. Russians have significantly increased the intensity of using this type of missile lately. There is a somewhat improved version, the X-69. They are similar in their parameters, but the X-69 has greater striking power and can fly further into our country's territory," noted the spokesperson of the Air Forces.
