The expert told what need to be done to stop the enemy's supply in the indicated direction.
Military expert Alexander Kovalenko told how the Crimean bridge's damage affected the Russian army's supply in the Southern bridgehead.
"The incident affected the supply of the Southern bridgehead, but not critically. Significant damage to the automobile part of the bridge would be decisive if the supply were carried out exclusively by the road, but this is not so. The supply is mainly carried out by the railway. The piece of iron is currently functioning incompletely. Only one branch in a reverse format, which reduced the volume and timing of cargo deliveries, but not critically,â he said.
According to him, until the railway track is completely disabled due to several more incidents, it is not necessary to talk about a complete cessation of supply.
Kovalenko also suggested that even in the event of the destruction of the Crimean bridge, Russia would be able to provide its troops with equipment for two or more weeks only at the expense of the resource accumulated in Crimea:
"The temporarily occupied peninsula of Crimea is now literally stuffed with ammo and equipment. For example, more than a thousand pieces of equipment are concentrated in the area of ââArmyansk and Chongar."
