American company CourtAvenue, listed in Inc. 5000, has acquired a controlling stake in BotsCrew, a Ukrainian company specializing in customized chatbot development for businesses. The top management and the entire team in Ukraine will remain intact. The news was shared by BotsCrew founders Maxim Gladish, Nazar Hembara, and Oleg Pylypchuk.
BotsCrew's clients include Virgin Holidays, Honda, Mars, FIBA, and the company has been operating in the AI market since 2016. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
BotsCrew develops solutions in the fields of Healthcare, E-commerce, Travel, Government, and Process Automation. The Lviv-based company created its first chatbot during a hackathon in 2016. After a series of victories at hackathons and landing their first client, the Italian travel startup Musement, they decided to turn it into a full-fledged business.
Currently, BotsCrew employs 60 people, with most of the team based in Ukraine and the headquarters in Lviv. The company plans to continue expanding its workforce in Ukraine.
CourtAvenue, based in the United States, creates AI solutions and has grown by 4,000% over the last three years. Its clients include Kia, Epson, Dell, and the US Air Force. Adweek recognized the company in the Adweek’s Fastest Growing Agencies category, and they rank 58th in Inc. 5000’s list of the fastest-growing private companies.
