In November 2023, Iran publicly presented the Shahed-238 jet-powered attack drone. And already in January of this year, Russia used a new drone during one of the attacks. Ukrainian analysts conducted an analysis of the components of the downed Shahed-238 and found Western components.

The new model of the Shahed jet is equipped with a jet engine identified as the TJ150, produced by the Czech company PBS Velká Bíteš, as reported by Army of Drones.

This engine provides a flight speed of approximately 520 km/h, as recorded during radar observation by Ukrainian military personnel.

For satellite navigation signal reception, a block of four TW1721 antennas from the Canadian company Tallysman is used.

Their processing is implemented on the AD9361BBCZ microchips from Analog Devices, the MIMXRT1052 microcontroller from NXP USA Inc, and the N63A0QI microchip from Intel, all from the USA.

The flight control and management module of the Shahed-238 is built around the TMS320 F28335PGFA microprocessor from Texas Instruments, also from the USA.
