In rockets and drones used by Russia to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities, there are foreign components manufactured in at least 19 countries around the world.
Prosecutor General, General Andriy Kostin stated this on Twitter:
"The rockets and drones that Russia uses for daily attacks on peaceful cities and towns in Ukraine contain foreign components manufactured in at least 19 countries worldwide. These include China, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States, and others," he wrote.
According to him, efforts are currently underway to find a solution to deprive Russia of access to modern technologies it employs to create conditions unsuitable for life for Ukrainians.
"It is crucial to develop a comprehensive policy to prevent illegal trafficking of technologies and strengthen mechanisms of accountability for those involved in such activities," he noted.
Kostin believes that a key part of such efforts should involve criminalizing the transportation, sale, purchase, delivery, or other actions related to supplying technological goods to individuals and entities under sanctions.
