Ukraine is determined to ensure that all the occupiers, starting from the Russian leadership who issued the criminal orders to their immediate executors, are brought to justice for the crimes committed in our country. Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said this during the United News telethon, summing up this week full of local and international events.

Yermak said that the week passed under the sign of working trips of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team to the regions of Ukraine.

"It is very important. The President always wants to see for himself and talk to people on the ground," he said.

The head of the Office of the President recalled that during these trips important international events also occurred. In particular, in Zaporizhzhia, the President met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who arrived for another inspection of the Zaporizhzhia NPP still occupied by Russia and continues to pose a great threat to the entire world.

Also, Zelenskyy and Ukrainian energy workers showed the IAEA director general the consequences of the Russian attacks on the Dnipro HPP.

Yermak said that Zelenskyy was one of the most awaited participants of the second Summit for Democracy chaired by U.S. President Joseph Biden.

"The President of Ukraine noted in his speech that Russia has been at war with the democracies of the world for a long time. And democracy today must be active, it cannot sit back, but must act, as the heroic Ukrainian nation demonstrates," the head of the Office of the President said.

In addition, on the anniversary of the liberation of Bucha from the Russian invaders on March 31, the Bucha Summit was held, to participate in which the President of Moldova and the Prime Ministers of Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia arrived in Ukraine, and almost fifty leaders and representatives of various countries took part via video links.

"Everyone talked about accountability and that everyone who did it, who killed and tortured Ukrainians in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities, must be held accountable," Yermak said.

According to him, during the visit to Bucha, all those present saw how much has been done in the past year regarding the restoration of this city. At the same time, the President drew attention to the need to speed up the pace of recovery of Ukrainian cities affected by the war, which the Ukrainian authorities are constantly working on and international partners are actively involved in. Today, they already take certain territories under their patronage.

"That's why I think that such a good example, which we saw today in Bucha, we will be able to show in other Ukrainian cities very soon. First of all, people should return to normal life and get what this war deprived them of," the head of the President's Office is convinced.

Yermak said that, unfortunately, people's lives do not come back, but the Russian occupiers will definitely be held accountable for this.

"No one will escape this responsibility. Today, we are very serious. And I am sure that everyone, starting from the Russian leadership, which gave these shameful criminal orders, to the last soldier who came as an invader to the Ukrainian land, will be held accountable without a statute of limitations," the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine said.
