Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, commented to Ukrainian Truth on the explosion of a Russian drone on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is occupied by Russia.

"Ukraine is not involved in any armed provocations on the territory illegally occupied by Russia, including the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The aggressor state once again endangers a nuclear facility, civilian population, and the environment of the entire Europe," said Andriy Yusov.

"The strikes, including simulated ones, on the territory of the Ukrainian nuclear plant, as well as the deployment of troops and weapons there, and the mining of Zaporizhzhia NPP facilities, have long been known and are a constant criminal practice of the occupiers," reminded the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

He emphasized that Russia must withdraw its troops from all Zaporizhzhia NPP facilities.

"Only this will allow the restoration of compliance with all necessary international norms and control over this important nuclear energy facility," Andriy Yusov noted.
