Ukraine is conducting a defensive war, but this does not mean that military actions will only take place on its territory.
This was reported by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, in a comment to Radio Free Europe.
As noted by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, there are no safe places left in Russia today, except for the bunker of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, as he is most concerned about his own safety.
"Russia today is an aggressor state that is waging a full-scale aggressive war against independent Ukraine. Ukraine is defending itself, conducting a defensive war, but defensive war does not mean actions only on the territory of Ukraine. This needs to be clearly understood by the entire free world, the democratic world understands this very well. All forces and means, that is, both water and sky, and actions on land, in the deep rear of the enemy. These are defensive actions from the Ukrainian side, and they will continue," Yusov explained.
He noted that events continue to unfold and take on a systemic character and impact:
• Military: disruptions in fuel supplies to the occupation corps;
• Economic, which is also related to the military, as "oil dollars" are used to finance the genocidal war;
• Information-political: when it becomes increasingly clear in Russia that Putin is not simply winning.
"Moreover, he (Putin) increasingly involves the territory of the Russian Federation itself in the war, does not control the situation, and cannot protect [the territory]," Yusov added.
