Polish President Andrzej Duda, commenting on the relations between Ukraine and Poland, emphasized the priority of Polish interests but also noted that contacts on problematic issues are ongoing.

Duda made these remarks during an interview with Polsat News on Sunday.

The President of Poland explained that, for example, he announced the fall of a Ukrainian rocket in the village of Pshevoz, "despite various resistances, including from the Ukrainian side," because "the Poles deserve the truth."

"Similarly, here, if grain from Ukraine was coming into Poland, filling our market and harming the interests of Polish farmers, it needed to be decisively stopped, and we simply did that," he continued.

Duda mentioned that negotiations between Poland and Ukraine are still ongoing.

"They are absolutely not suspended. There is no diplomatic conflict whatsoever," he emphasized, adding that contracts for Polish defense companies to supply military equipment to Ukraine are also continuing.

In addition, the Polish President expressed regret that Ukraine does not pay attention to the fact that the transit of grain through Poland is ongoing.

It is worth noting that relations between Ukraine and Poland are going through a crisis due to differences over trade issues.
