Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that on August 29, a catastrophe began for the Russian army and for Russian society.
He said this during a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin.
According to him, the Ukrainian military strategy considers the psychological and moral impact on the occupiers.
"The soldiers will learn that help will not come because the crossing is destroyed. They will learn that they will not be able to retreat because the crossing is destroyed. And every day, every hour, we will increase their sense of hopelessness. This is part of the plan," he explained.
Arestovich is convinced that under such conditions, the Russian soldier will wonder what he is doing in this war, but will not find an answer.
The OP adviser believes the Russians should realize they will suffer a severe defeat.
"It will be a disaster for the Russian military and their society. It began on August 29, it has moved into an active phase. Now we have made a turning point. This is a long road to death. To civil, moral, psychological, political. Vladimir Vladimirovich, nothing itches there? This is your end," he said.
- Today, the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched offensive operations in many directions of the south.
