Arestovich: Putin invites the West to stop and agree on Ukraine

Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin sent his representatives to a number of Western countries to discuss ending the war against Ukraine and the possibility of agreeing on the territories already occupied. Arestovich said this on the air of the Feigin Live channel.

According to him, the Kremlin "emissaries" went to several Western countries (Arestovich named Germany, France, Hungary "and so on") with a plan which sounds something like this: "we all got a little excited, please understand and forgive."

He recalled that Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin told Türkiye after his visit to Kyiv that Russia "wants to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine and the West and conclude a new big deal."

"Russia is trying to bargain: we were all a little wrong, but let's go to Minsk-3," Arestovich said.

In addition, according to him, French President Emmanuel Macron allegedly suggested to President Volodymyr Zelensky: "Let's give in a little sovereignty to Ukraine, and Putin will calm down."

Earlier today, Zelensky, in an interview with the Italian TV channel Rai 1, said that Macron is now trying in vain to look for a "way out for Russia" from the current situation with its unsuccessful military actions against Ukraine.

“And I should offer some things related to concessions on our sovereignty to save face to President Putin. It seems to me that this is not very correct on certain leaders. We are not ready to save something for someone and lose for this our territories," Zelensky said.

Arestovich also remembered the decision of Finland and Sweden to become members of NATO.

"We must clearly understand. The Kremlin is driving emissaries to the West, offering to stop and agree. To agree on the already occupied territory," Arestovich said.

“No way. Nothing like this will happen. We will wet until we wet and drive out of here,” he added.
