However, most of the Russians who trained in Belarus are preparing to go to the Donbas, not to the northern direction.

The Russian command in its plans, is considering the possibility of a new offensive from Belarus to the territory of Ukraine.

This was stated by Advisor to the Office of President Aleksey Arestovich in an interview with Russian journalist and human rights activist Mark Feygin.

"One option is to Kyiv, the second option, figuratively speaking, Volyn. They are considering seriously, they are considering this possibility," Arestovich said.

According to him, most of the Russian mobilized who train in Belarus are preparing to be sent to the Donbas and not to the northern direction. The Russian Federation uses Belarus as a training ground because, according to the adviser to the Presidential Office, there has been the infrastructure necessary for this since Soviet times.

"About the Belarusian army - I am skeptical about the possibility of its participation (in the war), because they sent a message that they do not want to participate. If they did not take part at the beginning of the war when everyone believed that Ukraine was losing, then in a situation where everyone understands that Russia has lost, it would be absolute nonsense to join," the adviser to the President's Office is sure.

In his opinion, Putin will now try to withdraw professional combat-ready units from Ukraine for regrouping, replacing them with mobilized "Wagnerites". The professional army, which will be saved from defeat, can be sent to another direction, including the northern direction - from Belarus. But for this, according to Arestovich, much time is needed.
