In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces are primarily attacking with infantry. The Russian army is also accumulating ammunition, equipment, warm gear, and fuel and lubricants.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group, Yevhen Romanov, during a telethon.
"The enemy is once again mainly attacking with infantry. We know that they are continuously building up their forces and resources. They are bringing in ammunition, equipment, food, warm gear, and fuel. They are preparing for winter," Romanov stated.
He noted that the Defense Forces are aware of the Russia's intentions.
"For obvious reasons, we will not discuss what surprises our troops are preparing for them in this direction. However, I would like to emphasize that tanks are a very vulnerable target," the spokesperson added.
Romanov also mentioned that the intensity of airstrikes from Russian forces has increased. He reported that yesterday the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions with air-dropped bombs ten times. Prior to that, they used unguided air-to-ground rockets.
