During the attack on Belbek Airbase in the occupied Crimea, Russian General Aleksandr Tatarenko has been eliminated.

According to reports from Russian sources, 10 Russian military personnel have been eliminated, including the commander of the aviation squadron, Lieutenant General Alexander Tatarenko. According to information from open sources, the eliminated general was 63 years old. He served in the Far East, the Urals, Siberia, and the northern regions of Russia. In 2016, he was appointed as the commander of the 14th Army of the Aerospace Forces and Air Defense of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation. He held the rank of Military Pilot 1st Class.

It is stated that two missiles hit the command post of the 38th Fighter Aviation Regiment, while another missile targeted the communication point of the airbase.

It is also noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched cruise missiles along unexpected routes for the Russians, with the majority passing over the waters of the Black Sea.
