The city of Beryslav in the Kherson region has officially become a sister city to Winterswijk in the Netherlands, with a memorandum signed on Friday, May 17.
This was announced on Facebook by the head of the Beryslav District Military Administration, Volodymyr Litvinov.
“Today, with the support of VNG International, representatives of the Beryslav City Territorial Community and the municipality of Winterswijk (Netherlands) signed a memorandum of cooperation! This marks the official sister city relationship between our cities, opening a new era of friendly relations and productive interaction,” emphasized Litvinov.
According to him, during the signing of the memorandum, representatives of the Winterswijk municipality shared information about the economic and legal components that operate in their municipality.
The head of the district military administration emphasized that the sister city relationship with Winterswijk will provide a strong impetus for the development of the Beryslav district, opening new opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
