British intelligence believes that winter is unlikely to bring significant changes on the front lines in Ukraine. According to reports on Twitter (X), there are currently no immediate prospects on the eastern front.
According to the British, heavy fighting is taking place on the Kupiansk axis in the Luhansk region, around Avdiivka, and on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to establish a foothold.
Neither side has made significant progress on the front yet. However, the occupying army continues to suffer particularly significant losses in the Avdiivka area.
British intelligence, citing eyewitnesses, adds that drones and artillery, especially cluster munitions, continue to play an important role on the front lines.
"As colder winter weather sets in earnest in eastern Ukraine, there are few immediate prospects of major changes in the frontline," summarized the intelligence agency.
