Ukrainian seamless stainless steel pipe manufacturer Centravis has signed an agreement to supply seamless stainless steel pipes to the German company Voss Fluid, which specializes in hydraulic connections for projects involving hydrogen and compressed natural gas, according to SteelOrbis.
The annual supply volume is expected to be in the tens of tons. Centravis anticipates an increase in orders for this segment as hydrogen projects become increasingly popular each year.
In the first half of this year, the company produced 6,880 tons of seamless stainless steel pipes, a 9% increase compared to the previous year.
Early last year, Centravis began production at its plant in Uzhhorod in western Ukraine, as previously reported by SteelOrbis.
