In six cases, the border patrols of the "Veliky Bychkiv", "Solotvyno," and "Hrushevo" departments stopped 13 men who intended to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Romanian border near the banks of the Tisza. Eight detainees are Kharkiv region residents, four are from the Poltava region, and one is a conscript from the Kyiv region. All the things of the "swimmers" were traditionally wrapped in polyethylene, which eloquently indicated the intentions of their owners to overcome water obstacles.

One more fugitive, a Transcarpathian, was stopped by the border guards of the "Luzhanka" department during the implementation of the information provided by the operational-search department officers Mukachevo detachment. The man preferred the land section of the border.
In all cases, administrative protocols were drawn up for the men on the commission of the offense provided for in Art. 204-1 of the Criminal Procedure Code "Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine." The cases were referred to the court, which will soon provide a legal assessment of the men's actions.
For committing the specified offense, liability is provided in the form of a fine from UAH 3,400 to UAH 8,500 or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days.
