Russian forces are concentrating troops for assault actions in the Chasiv Yar area of Donetsk region.
According to Dmytro Zaporozhets, spokesperson for the Luhansk operational-tactical group, during a national telethon broadcast.
He stated that Russian forces are primarily focused on gathering personnel in different parts of the city to continue active assaults.
"Right now, they are in a phase of accumulating and concentrating forces at the approaches to Chasiv Yar, as well as regrouping within the city to launch further assault operations," Zaporozhets said.
At the same time, he noted that last week, Russian forces did not deploy armored vehicles.
"Instead, they relied more on vehicles for logistics, such as ATVs and buggies… They are also actively using and stockpiling smoke, which indicates their intent to continue offensive operations in Chasiv Yar," the spokesperson added.
