The likely new wave of mobilization in Russia will, this time, affect residents of Moscow as well. This statement was made by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Andrey Yusov, during a national telethon.

"Predominantly, this wave of public mobilization has passed without affecting Moscow and the Moscow region, and the residents of the capital, at least in part, not talking about guest workers or any unreliable segments of the population. The typical Muscovite was affected by this mobilization to a small extent. This time, it will likely be different," he said.

Yusov mentioned that despite the regime of the aggressor country's president trying to protect Moscow's residents, mobilization will inevitably affect them.

He also noted that the new potential wave of mobilization will affect even more ordinary families.

"Regardless of being a closed society with repression and dictatorship, the Kremlin still has reasons to fear public sentiment, which is why decisions about a new wave of mobilization have been postponed several times," Yusov stated.

He emphasized that hidden mobilization in Russia continues all the time, but a new public wave of mobilization could begin, and autumn is the period when it could potentially be announced.
