Among the prisoners exchanged today, there were no individuals claimed to have been on the Il-76 aircraft.

According to Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, there were no Ukrainians among those exchanged today who were alleged to have been on the downed Il-76 plane.

The Russian side had claimed that 65 Ukrainian prisoners were on the Il-76 that was supposedly shot down on January 24, and they even published a list of these individuals.

However, the Coordination Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners confirmed that people from this list were indeed planned to be exchanged on January 24.

Yet, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate representative, there were no Ukrainians today who were identified as being on board the aircraft.

Today, on January 31, an exchange of prisoners took place between Ukraine and Russia. A total of 207 Ukrainians have returned home.
