In the spring, the Ukrainian army will be ready to launch a counteroffensive, and one of its strategic goals will be an attempt to "drive a wedge into the Russian front in the south." Vadym Skibitsky, a representative of the military intelligence of Ukraine, reported this in a comment to DW.
According to Vadym Skibitsky, Ukraine will be ready for a counteroffensive in the spring. At the same time, he noted that the specific time of the offensive depends on a number of factors, including the supply of Western weapons.
A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence stated that one of the strategic goals of the counteroffensive will be an attempt to "drive a wedge into the Russian front in the south - between Crimea and the Russian mainland."
"The goal of the counteroffensive is to liberate all occupied territories of Ukraine, including Crimea. We will stop only when we restore the country within the borders of 1991," the representative of military intelligence of Ukraine emphasized.
