In Russia, there are two "limit" dates for the end of the war against Ukraine, and they are connected with internal Russian events.
According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Vadim Skibitsky, in particular, we are talking about the national elections in the Russian Federation and the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Soviet Union, he said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
Skibitsky noted that now the Kremlin is actively discussing further actions, in particular, regarding the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence believes that the Kremlin wants to end the war before September 11, when the country votes. In particular, the leadership of the Russian Federation is already talking about holding pseudo-referenda in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, temporarily controlled by the enemy.
The political technologists of the Russian Federation are now working on all this, they are actively studying our territories, the social situation and what to do with them in general - to integrate or not to integrate. This is a dilemma.
Vadim Skibitsky
At the same time, according to him, another important date for the Russian Federation is the 100th anniversary of the creation of the USSR - December 30th.
But all further developments will depend on how successful they will be, and how much we will not allow their plans to be realized

Earlier today, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the events that will mark a turning point in the war against the Russian Federation are expected from the beginning of August. Fighting until the end of the year will be reduced to a minimum.
