The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs that Russian intelligence services have created and distributed a new set of narratives to their controlled propagandists and so-called "technologists" with the aim of undermining trust in our state among Western partners.
As part of the ongoing campaign to discredit Ukraine, the following key fakes from the Kremlin's manual are planned:
"Corrupt Ukraine sells weapons to 'Hamas' terrorists."
"Ukraine uses the 'Grain Corridor' for illegal arms trading."
"Rustem Umierov uses his connections in the Arab world for illegal arms trading."
"Lebanon's opening of the market for Ukrainian agricultural products is used for illegal arms trading."
The primary goal of this new information campaign by the enemy remains unchanged – to completely halt the supply of weapons to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine from partner states.
The dissemination of these fakes by the Russians indicates an intensification of efforts by the aggressor state, Russia, aimed at discrediting Ukraine.
With the same goal in mind, Russian intelligence services secretly provided 'Hamas' terrorists with certain samples of Western weaponry captured during combat operations in Ukraine.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine warns journalists, representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media, as well as Ukrainian citizens, against spreading fabricated harmful falsehoods created by Russian intelligence services.
