Russia is intensifying its network of influence agents ahead of May 9, planning a series of informational and propaganda events in the capitals of many countries.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Main Intelligence Directorate, in Prague, a rally "For the restoration of relations with Russia" and an event "80th anniversary of liberation from fascism. We cannot have peace" are scheduled for May 7-8. The organizer is the anti-government pro-Russian movement "Ne zakladnam CR."

On May 9, representatives of the movement will march through the central streets of Prague allegedly to honor the victims of World War II. A number of events across the Czech Republic aimed at glorifying the Red Army are also planned by Czech communists.

In Sofia, representatives of the "Russian House in Bulgaria" plan to hold a propaganda event "Georgian Ribbon" on May 9.

In Brussels on May 6, the "Russian House" plans to hold a round table on "the struggle that, in solidarity with the peoples of Russia and other republics of the Soviet Union, was fought by the Belgians, Dutch, and Luxembourgers against the brown plague of the 20th century."

In London, Russians plan a theatrical reenactment of the events of 1945. In Warsaw, they plan an event "Memory Wall," organized by the "Russian House."

In Bucharest, the Russian embassy will organize a wreath-laying ceremony at the "Unknown Soldier" monument to use the public event for propaganda speeches. Also, in Romania, Russia is trying to involve a broad audience, including children, in the campaign "Decorate your windows with symbols of victory." Within this information campaign, Soviet-Russian "Victory Day" motifs and symbols are being spread on social media.

On May 11, in Verona, Italy, Russians plan to hold an international forum "Memory of the Victors."

In most European countries, a pro-Russian event "European Peace Project" is also planned for May 9, as highlighted by the Main Intelligence Directorate.

In Toronto, Montreal, and other large cities in Canada, Russian agents posing as the "Immortal Regiment" civic organization plan car and motorcycle parades with Soviet-Russian symbols, thematic concerts, workshops on making paper carnations, broadcasts of Soviet-themed cartoons and films, and participation in the "Immortal Regiment" musical event organized by Russia 1 TV channel.

Propaganda "Immortal Regiment" marches are planned in the suburbs of Washington (USA), Munich (Germany), Toronto (Canada), Belgrade (Serbia), Naples and Genoa (Italy), and other cities.

The Main Intelligence Directorate emphasizes that Russia is falsifying history, distorting facts about World War II, and creating and exploiting myths about the "victory over fascism" to justify its criminal war against Ukraine and spread its malignant influence worldwide.
