Measures to strengthen sections of the Russian border in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions have been intensified by the aggressor state following raids by the "Siberian Battalion," "Russian Volunteer Corps," and the "Freedom of Russia" legion.
The personnel of the Russian military groups "Kursk," "Bryansk," and "Belgorod" are being trained to detect and combat sabotage and reconnaissance groups, conduct assault operations in urban areas, and protect and defend critical infrastructure objects.
Training for the reinforcement of Russian border regions is conducted, among other places, in the occupied city of Mariupol and other occupied cities of Ukraine.
The adversary also strengthens, improves, and camouflages fortifications in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions, attempting to increase the number of anti-drone, electronic warfare, and air defense assets there.
In particular, units of the adversary's 5th anti-aircraft missile brigade, currently located in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, are planned to be relocated to the Kursk region.
Russian engineering units are expanding the geography of mine and explosive barriers in border areas.
Among the local population in the mentioned regions, there is growing dissatisfaction with the actions of municipal officials, the Kremlin authorities, and Russian propagandists who recommend that border residents "endure" and mourn the Russians killed in the Moscow region during the terrorist attack.
