Russian air reconnaissance in the Kharkiv operational-tactical grouping area has intensified by 40%.

This was stated by Vitaliy Sarantsev, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group, during the national TV marathon Unified News.

“The enemy's air reconnaissance has increased by approximately 40%. They conduct it both day and night, and it should be noted that the enemy achieves two objectives: the first is detecting Defense Forces units for subsequent fire strikes on positions and our forces and assets, and the second is scouting routes for their own units. In other words, they are monitoring various areas to determine the optimal routes for the movement of both personnel and equipment,” Sarantsev said.

According to the spokesperson, in Vovchansk, the occupiers are occasionally trying to use equipment for logistical support and transporting personnel. Additionally, last night they attempted to move personnel to Vovchansk using vehicles, but the equipment was detected and partially destroyed along with the crew.

“The Russian forces also conducts air reconnaissance within the city itself. Moreover, they are trying to find new routes for ballistic support operations, as our FPV drones, to put it mildly, do not allow them to move freely with any purpose: whether for assaults or for delivering supplies and ammunition to the forward positions,” Sarantsev added.

He noted that as of today, the hottest front segment is the Vovchansk direction. In the directions of Starytsia, Lyptsi, Hlyboke, and Lukianivka, the Russian forces is not conducting active combat operations due to the buildup of forces and internal rotations of their units.
