Poland may soon sign an agreement with Ukraine on security guarantees.
This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during a TV marathon.
As Shmyhal revealed, today he discussed with the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, the prospect of signing an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine.
"We expect such a document to be agreed upon and signed by the leaders of Ukraine and Poland in the near future," said the Ukrainian Prime Minister.
At the NATO Summit in Vilnius, G7 countries signed a declaration of security guarantees for Ukraine, which was later joined by several other countries.
The agreement includes not only military assistance but also financial and economic support, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine. Additionally, the agreements provide a guarantee of assistance to Kyiv in the event of further aggression by the Russian Federation.
