As of today, there have been 7 destructive enemy attacks on Ukraine's port and grain infrastructure. However, despite this, Ukraine is capable of ensuring the operation of its ports and providing the necessary security component.

During a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center, Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Ukraine Defense Forces, emphasized this.

"After the completion of the 'grain deal' in its legitimate form, Russia began aggressive and targeted fire activities, attacking Ukraine's port and grain infrastructure. At this moment, we have recorded 7 such powerful and destructive attacks. However, we can affirm that the port infrastructure is ready to join the 'grain deal' the very next day and fulfill its obligations. Even despite the damage inflicted on the port infrastructure, Ukraine, as a country that adheres to agreements, is capable of ensuring the operation of its ports and providing the necessary security component," she stated.

Natalia Humeniuk also stressed the importance of international support in this matter.

"The only thing we truly need is international support, as we had in the past during the functioning of the 'grain deal' - guarantees from the UN and Turkey. This triple alliance of efforts proved to be effective and worked excellently," she added.
