During the war in Ukraine, 33 volunteers from Georgia have already died.
The founder and commander of the "Georgian National Legion," Mamuka Mamulashvili, said that the dead Georgian volunteers fought for Ukraine as part of the "Carpathian Sich" volunteer battalion.

The commander of the "Georgian National Legion" noted that after Georgian fighters' death, even more, Georgia volunteers would come to fight against Russia.
"Georgia is familiar with the situation that has now unfolded in Ukraine. Georgian society supports Ukraine and sympathizes with all Ukrainians," Mamulashvili added.
On December 4, it became known about the death of six Georgian soldiers in the Bakhmut direction.
