Details of the Russia's combined aerial attack on Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of April 19 have emerged. It is known that the number of casualties and injured has increased in various cities of the region.
As of 08:30, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are currently reports of 16 injured and two fatalities in Dnipro. The airstrike occurred right in the city center, hitting a residential five-story building.
In Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region, six people were killed, including children aged six and eight, with two others injured.
Russia deliberately targeted objects belonging to Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). There are injuries among railway workers. Train services to and from Dnipro have been suspended, with temporary terminus stations at Nyzhnedniprovsk and Horiaine.
In Dnipro, the regional center, a residential building—a five-story apartment block—was damaged and caught fire as a result of the enemy's aerial attack.
According to the head of the regional state administration, in addition to the residential building, two infrastructure objects were also damaged in Dnipro.
"In total, in the city at the moment, preliminary reports indicate 2 fatalities and 15 injured," Lysak reported.
Later, it became known that the number of casualties from the missile attack on the city had increased to 15 people. They are of "medium" severity, according to the regional state administration.
In Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region, there are fatalities and casualties, including children.
"One is in critical condition. Four private houses are partially destroyed, while 8 others are damaged," the Regional State Administration reported.
Later, it was revealed that there was a fatality in this city.
"Synelnykove. Among them (three casualties) are 2 children. Unfortunately, one eight-year-old child passed away in the hospital. Condolences to the family and loved ones," the head of the RSA later reported.
Pavlohrad In this locality, according to the head of the RSA, one enterprise was damaged.
In Kryvyi Rih, there is information about three casualties.
Vilkul reported that there was a "hit" on an infrastructure object in the city, resulting in a fire.
"All emergency services have been dispatched to the scene, and efforts to eliminate the consequences are underway. There are reports of 3 casualties - men aged 43, 53, and a woman aged 58. Two men are in the hospital, with moderate severity," the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council conveyed.
He added that "all services, hospitals, and social institutions are operating in the city, and there is electricity."
