The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is actively enhancing the country’s defense capabilities through the modernization and expansion of its arsenal with advanced technologies. As part of this effort, the Ministry’s Defense Procurement Agency has signed an agreement with a Ukrainian manufacturer for the supply of kamikaze ground drones.
The signing took place following the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klymenkov.
“We are working to ensure a stable supply of not only unmanned aerial vehicles but also kamikaze ground drones, which are set to become a powerful tool for our military. These drones are a crucial component of our defense strategy, as they can effectively carry out missions against the enemy,” Dmytro Klymenkov noted.
Additionally, the Defense Procurement Agency has also secured a deal for the supply of ammunition.
“We continue to purchase essential weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including ammunition and advanced technological solutions like ground drones. During this visit, we finalized agreements worth over 3.7 billion UAH,” said Marina Bezrukova, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency.
This move reaffirms the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to implementing cutting-edge technologies and supporting the national industry.
